Get started
One question at a time, and the file on the right becomes yours to copy. Nothing is sent anywhere โ the page builds it in your browser.
Answer the first question and the file appears here.
Then
Save it as Testfile in the root of your project and run it.
The same command runs it on your machine and on CI:
npx @testfile.dev/cli start
testfile doctor checks that this machine has what the file
needs before you run it, and testfile init does what this
page does from inside an existing project โ it reads what is already
there (a package.json, a docker-compose.yaml, a
CI workflow) and writes a first draft.
From here: Getting started walks through the same ground in prose, Writing tests covers the test tree, and a complete Testfile shows nearly every option at once.
